Wine with commitment & Love
Growing up in Leiwen on the Moselle, a close connection to wine developed early on. The fascination with how soil, climate, and careful manual labor shape the character of a wine continues to form the basis of our work today. After graduating from high school, I studied oenology at the Geisenheim University. There, the professional foundation for today's business was established, along with a deep understanding of viticulture, cellar management, and origin.
Experiences in various wine regions subsequently broadened the perspective on different working methods and styles. Practical activities in California and the Pfalz provided insights into international wine production, modern cellar technology, and various approaches to dealing with grape varieties and terroir.
In 2011, the return to the homeland in Leiwen on the Moselle took place, where our current business was established. What initially began on a small scale in a cellar has developed over the years into a vineyard area of around 19 hectares under our own management. The origin of the grapes plays a central role in this. White wines are almost exclusively produced on the Moselle, with Riesling taking the most important position. The red wines come from the Pfalz. The interplay of the cool Moselle climate and mineral-rich slate soils shapes the style of the wines and gives them structure, minerality, and precise fruit.
The origin is also central in the cellar. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with the natural yeasts of the grapes. Parcels and individual harvest dates are processed and fermented separately to depict the characteristics of the sites and the peculiarities of each vintage as authentically as possible.
This results in wines that combine origin, artisanal care, and a modern understanding of quality – shaped by the conditions of the Moselle and the development of an independently established vineyard business in Leiwen.

Tradition &
Modernity
Our claim is to produce natural wines that clearly show the character of the terroir while also bearing our signature. Each year, around 50 different wines are created, ranging from elegant Rieslings to powerful red wines and special cuvées. We value quality, precision, and authenticity – from the careful work in the vineyard to the bottling in the cellar.
We combine tradition and modernity. Our wines reflect the diversity of the locations from which the grapes come and carry the signature of our winery. This results in wines that offer enjoyment, spark curiosity, and clearly showcase the character of Mosel and Pfalz in every bottle.
